NEW YORK, NY: Aug 7th 2012 – 18 year old New York City singer/songwriter Sarah Solovay is ready to make waves in the music industry again with her newest release “Superhuman” which drops today, August 7th. The new release, which Sarah wrote and recorded while finishing high school in Manhattan, displays a variety of lyrical and vocal style that has listeners describing her music as Alanis Morissette meets Katy Perry meets Pink. Other references include Michelle Branch and Sara Bareilles.
Sarah is no stranger to the music industry already scoring critical acclaim for past releases that have been featured on major television networks including NBC, ABC, CBS’s CW, TNT, and MTV in the past few years. Sarah was also selected to open for John Mayer on his Battle Studies Tour at The Toyota Pavilion.
Sarah has accomplished all of this while juggling high school and before entering college this fall in Conn. A true multi-talent, Sarah displays a full grasp on what a hit song should sound like. While composing her songs alone in her bedroom with a guitar, Sarah hopes that her music helps and inspires people. “When people listen to my songs, I want them to know that someone else has gone through what they’re going through. Music connects people, and lets us know we’re not alone.”
