Nelvy is an upcoming new young Electro – Progressive House producer. He has freshly released the single “Clean Sheet”. Nelvy doesn’t deal in subtleties. Rather, every move he makes is a grand gesture, building towards a larger vision at stake. He has been doing electro for the past 3 years, working hard towards purchasing new equipment. Nelvy currently works with a set of headphones and an old windows PC for – which says lot if we take into account the big sound he manages to squeeze out of his limited tools.
This latest piece of the producer’s story is arguably his most important offering yet. From its grooving percussion all the way to its glittering synth melody at each peak, the track demonstrates just how vibrant of a mental environment the Nelvy sound can create for its listener.
“Clean Sheet’s” central melody seems to rise through layers of musical atmosphere, shining in weightless free fall before touching back down at the point before which its rudimental elements first coalesced. While it’s not a ground-breaking release in any sense, it doesn’t need to be.
Rather, it’s a studio master class, not only showcasing Nelvy’s ability to create electronic music with limited tools, but moreover to mix an epic sounding big room track, exclusively through headphones.
In terms of sound design, “Clean Sheets” is on par. Nelvy put much care into making this track sound as immaculate as possible, and we applaud how well the sounds through a variety of speakers. Given that Nelvy dedicates himself to producing quality tracks; it’s a natural step for him to refine each track to flawless levels.
Listening to Nelvy’s music is an emotional experience, and the fact that he presents his vision in such a strong fashion only cements his ability to produce.
Despite its relatively short length, “Clean Sheets” sounds totally fleshed out. It’s a rare accomplishment for a track this size, but Nelvy clearly put plenty of thought and energy into crafting the single, and getting all he needed into three minutes.
As expected, the track represents progressive house and a few other flavors along the way, complete with uplifting build-ups, unforgettable snares and masterfully mixed synths. The song operates under Nelvy’s adept vision of taking the listener on a musical journey, although it’s only one song and not an album.
“Clean Sheets” exudes a signature style, and a consistent melodic theme which has become a necessary trait in EDM music these days if you want to attract a large audience.
