Pop and R&B sensation Kojo Rigault, known to fans as Kojo, delivers his dance and R&B-fusion hit “Loverboy,” available worldwide from all major digital retailers from June 8, 2015, from FOX FUSE. First gaining fame as a member of Trinidadian R&B group New CreationKojo returns to the same formula of blending pop and R&B and adds dance flavors.Based in the United Kingdom, Kojo teamed up with two different producers to craft the diverse flavors of “Loverboy.”

Kojo who has had hits with “I’d like to Know” back in 2010, and then “Queen Inna Di Ghetto” during 2014, has proven that he really knows how to blend a catchy crossover song. You’ll just get chills at the beginning of the song when there is a piano, handclapping and a percussion instrument before Kojo falls in with his vocals. This song invokes a nostalgic feeling, a renaissance if you will. The track is filled with passion and intense energy that pulls you into the music and into a particular zone.

“The initial song was created in university while studying music production,” reveals Kojo“I then asked dance music producer/re-mixer Ellington to work with me on the song. We took it as far as we could and then forwarded that version to producer KWarren, who specializes in garage dance music.” The vocals were then recorded at KWarren’s home and the end result is this smooth, R&B-flavored dance track that is bound to find its place on party playlists globally.
