Gangai Victor is a worship leader and songwriter from Chennai, India. He is also a well-liked blogger (Votive Praise) and author of ‘The Worship Kenbook’, whose writings are read and shared all over the world. Gangai believes his calling is to make worshippers, which he tries to accomplish through his writings, music and offline training programs.
Gangai Victor’s 6-track EP, “Tuned to the Key of Praise” is a community project produced in collaboration with Indian worship artists Catherine C Harry, Robert Martin, Nora Alexy, Ann Swetha as well as Alastair Vance from the US.

A definite must have for your Contemporary Christian music collection. But anyone looking for music with an uplifting message should get this album.
“Tuned to the Key of Praise” reflects a mature yet fresh sound with lyrics that captivate (and ultimately satisfy) your ears and soul. Scripturally based, every song ministers to young and old and grabs you on the inside and won’t let go. I am very passionate about music, and I think worshiping God through song is one of the best ways to get through to him spiritually. Gangai Victor + Friends, who seem to have come out of nowhere – for me anyway – have achieved this here. I was overwhelmed with the melodic beauty of the piano-driven “Stay With Us” as well as “Awake O My Soul” and immediately fell in love with these songs. But the same can be said of the rest of the EP as well.
Gangai Victor + Friends stand atop the newest crop of talented Christian bands in the last year that create inspirational lyrics matched with a fresh sound that withstands many listens. Crisp guitars, shimmering pianos, great rhythms, both female and male harmonic vocals of superb quality; all complete the package to make a fantastically uplifting listen. You will find yourself wanting to play “Tuned to the Key of Praise” over and over. The lyrics hit home and hit the heart to both Christians and non-Christians. The lyrics are inspiring as well as encouraging.
