FD is an unsigned 20 year old Rap and Hiphop artist/producer from the Netherlands chasing the American Dream. FD’s latest release is “That Dough” which is both performed and produced by him.
This new single builds on the sound of FD’s previous releases. Here he is is confident of his abilities as performer and producer and evidences a strong aura of Southern-styled braggadocio. He’s got a certain swagger that works well with the stomping beats and finger snapping rhythms that we’re coming to associate with the south in USA. This is also showcased on his remix of “Work”.
FD has skills, style, and charisma, while repping the Netherlands in the rap game. “That Dough” probably being best project to date, the thing I love about this single is that the lyrics and the beat blend perfectly together.
The key to the success of this single is FD’s hunger as an artist. At the same time he maintains the necessary swagger, while flexing his production and mic skills.
“That Dough” is both commercial and reflective with a good mix between a modern futuristic production, and some unusual surprises. It sounds like FD’s most personal track to date and after listening to his previous releases it would almost look imposing to archive.

I’m surprised and overwhelmed of the skill shown by this European rapper. For the first time in a while there is a rapper across the pond, combining commercial appeal with personal integrity. The opposite of moderate is exactly right for FD. He can hit home with everyone. College kids on their grind, hustlers trying to find a way out, or people who just want to bob their heads to the beat.
With “That Dough” FD has really stepped his rap game up. Here he puts out a quality product, with production, content, and lyrics at his personal best. It starts strong, continues strong in the middle, and finishes very strong.
FD shows that he’s one of the few European rappers who have style and substance comparable with the USA’s southern rappers.
