[twitter style=”vertical” float=”left”] [fbshare type=”button”] [google_plusone size=”standard” annotation=”none” language=”English (UK)”] “Nebula Riders” is the brand new single from independant Italian rocker, Antonio Pantano. If you like your rock heavily orchestrated, bombastic and saturated with huge choirs and elaborated vocals, then this track will give you a taste of what is to come on Antonio’s upcoming album “Stream Of Unconsciousness”, to be released later this year.
Thirty-one year old Antonio Pantano, by day, is a part-time gym instructor in Sicily, Italy. But when he lays down the Barbells, it’s music that becomes his driving passion.
Antonio often locks himself into his home recording-studio where he sets about composing his epic and gothic rock symphonies.
Not only does he compose the songs but he takes personal care of recording all the musical tracks as well, being a multi-instrumentalist.
“Nebula Riders” is a driving doomsday rock anthem initially belted out through a megaphone, before Antonio kicks in with his Justin Hawkins-like (lead singer of The Darkness) falsetto style vocals and glorious chior choruses.
Neatly packaged alongside “Nebula Riders” at iTunes you’ll also find two other Antonio Pantano tracks. These however will not feature on the new album. So purchase them apart.
The first is entitled “Duke Nukem”. Symphonic, power, thrash, dark and musical metal-o-rama all mixed into one instrumental that sounds like a soundtrack to a Ridley Scott movie.
The second is “Dawn Of A New Dimension”. An ethereal mix of music, samples and loops creates an atmospheric slow tempo track that tends toward the ambient rock genre.
Sonically Antonio Pantano is an extravagant and eclectic composer, borrowing from a wide variety of sounds and styles.
He paints his own personalized musical canvas, with rich incandescent colours that amalgamate to form his special brand of symphonic metal.
With the use of rock guitars, cinematic sounds and a huge amount of choir arrangements, ‘Nebula Riders’ presents everything Antonio Pantano is today and promises great things for the future.
Including his upcoming album “Stream Of Unconsciousness”.
For both the single and album cover artwork, Antonio commissioned artist and designer Karim Fakhoury who can be contacted here: http://www.karimfakhoury.com
